We embarked on another trip to the peak district, where we indulged in the beautiful scenery, relaxing walks and good food.
We arrived at the camp at 14:00 on the 3rd of January. The temperature was a crisp 2'c, so we all bundled up warm.
The campsite was covered in snow, and the ground was quite icy.
The campsite was a beautiful place and had lovely facilities, the only hiccup we had was as the temperature was so cold, all of the pipes had frozen leaving us with no water or toilets, but this wasn’t a problem.
We quickly started to set up the tents, and the electrical heaters, which made a vast difference. The difference it made was warmly appreciated, make the tent feel homely at a 21'c. After everything was set up , we left the camp site and drove around 20 mins to where we would begin our walk.

We started our walk on the trail and come across these really beautiful rocks, where we stood and took some photos of the scenery. After this was wandered for around another 15 minutes up the track to Ludhams' church. The church actually a church but a ravine. The walls were covered in foliage, while the floor was a rocky passage. We arrive here while the sun was setting, making the overall scenery very mystical.

After the two very peaceful stops, we carried on walking along the ridge up to the Roaches, where we stop and had a photo shot. The overall walk included the three stops mentioned before, and good vibes. We then turned around and began the 3 hour walk back to the Casco campsite, where we were delighted by the warmth of the car, warming us all up.
It wouldn't be a hike if we didn't go to a pub, so we embarked on a journey to the pub. While their we had a few drinks and a feast which included pizza kababs. After having our fill, we went back to the campsite and went to sleep.

Day 2
After putting down the tent we headed of to the start of our next walk. Along the way we saw many beautiful views.
The walk on the second day was significantly shorter due to delays on day one however we had a great time and manged to get great pictures at the top of the peak .
